HIGH SCHOOLS

We offer student memberships, internships, mentoring opportunities, scholarships and book awards. Our programs foster learning in a discussion-based setting, educational resources for international relations, and diplomacy training.

The World Affairs Forum gives a limited number of book awards to students in international studies or foreign languages each year.

In memory of Barbara Chisolm, who was Chairman of the Board for World Affairs Forum from 1998 to 2001, we give Book Awards to outstanding area high school students whose focus includes international studies or foreign languages.

Have your high school reach out to info@worldaffairsforum.org.

WANT TO STAY INFORMED ABOUT WORLD EVENTS?

A Forum for Global Education and International Affairs

Since 1946, World Affairs Forum in Stamford, CT has been providing top-level and thought-provoking presentations, debates, and discussions of foreign policy and global affairs. WAF provides a non-partisan forum for speeches by world leaders, economists, diplomats, scholars, business luminaries, corporate change-makers, authors, journalists, and Nobel laureates. These worldwide speakers join WAF members, VIP guests, and the public for in-depth discussions of major international relations issues and events, and themes of global impact. Our mission is to create conversations in our community of Fairfield and Westchester Counties about global affairs, foreign policy, and America’s role in the world.
