HIGH SCHOOLS

We offer student memberships, internships, mentoring opportunities, scholarships and book awards. Our programs foster learning in a discussion-based setting, educational resources for international relations, and diplomacy training.

The World Affairs Forum gives a limited number of book awards to students in international studies or foreign languages each year.

In memory of Barbara Chisolm, who was Chairman of the Board for World Affairs Forum from 1998 to 2001, we give Book Awards to outstanding area high school students whose focus includes international studies or foreign languages.

Have your high school reach out to info@worldaffairsforum.org.

We are affiliated with World Affairs Councils of America (WACA), with more than 95 affiliate Councils representing 86,000 members nationwide.

A Forum for Global Education and International Affairs

Since 1946, we have been providing top-level and thought-provoking presentations, debates, and discussions of global education and international affairs. WAF provides a neutral forum for speeches by presidents, prime ministers, cabinet officials, economists, diplomats, scholars, academics, corporate leaders, authors, researchers, pundits, journalists, and Nobel laureates. These worldwide speakers join Council members, VIP guests and the public for in-depth discussions of major foreign policy and education issues that have global impact.
